FULL. Event volunteer sign-ups. Don't want to crew but still want to be part of things? Volunteer to help with our events. 

July 18 - July 23: Boot Camp Classes (Free). Pick up a few new skills.

July 22: Reception for Directors, Producers, Sponsors. Our opening salvo where the producers, directors and sponsors meet and mingle with grace and decorum.

July 23: Shotgun Start at Q Studios as the sun is setting (let's call it 7:30pm). On your marks...get set...let's go shoot some movies. Our traditional ceremonial start for cast and crew and well, everyone involved in the Shootout.

July 24: Production begins at sunrise. Six crews are off, setting up and getting their first footage of the day. These next four days are all they've got to capture their director's vision. At the same time, editors are standing at the ready to offload, download, upload the first bytes of footage.

July 27: Production ends. Cast and crew retreat wearily. But not so the editors and the post production team. Post production goes into 'round the clock operation.

July 31: Post Production ends at 8am. The post production team has given their all. Final rendering commences. Footage is compressed and loaded for the judges viewing pleasure.

July 31: Gala Awards and Screening at UNM Popejoy. Come share the joy! See what we've done in just 7 days. You'll be amazed. And who will win the coveted Palm de Grease? Tickets on sale beginning June 15 through UNM Popejoy ticket office.
