-> With your support, we continue to train and prepare New Mexicans for jobs in the film industry through our innovative filmmaking competition and training program – The Duke City Shootout, a filmMAKING festival.

-> 100% of your donation directly supports the production of the movies. All Duke City Shootout staff and crew volunteer their time and energy.

-> As part of the Duke City Shootout, we've produced over 70 short films, many of which have won awards at film festivals around the country and internationally.

-> The Duke City Shootout starts with a script competition. Winning scripts are selected, the writers brought to Albuquerque to make their film. We provide EVERYTHING. Cast, crew, cameras, equipment, editors, food, props, wardrobe – you name it. In one week, six movies will be shot and edited. At the end of the week, movies will be screen at our Gala event at UNM Popejoy Hall.
